Three Peaks Challenge is Now Complete
July 20, 2015Try the Stoke Airfield Cafe
November 17, 2015It been a successful first few months as Two Two Fly settle into our new home at Stoke Airfield in Kent.
For those who missed my announcement earlier in the summer, on the 1st July, Two Two Fly took over operations at Stoke Airfield just outside of Rochester. This has given us a brand new base of operations and we now are able to fly from airfields in Cambridgeshire, Hertfordshire, Essex and Kent.
We’ve got off to an absolutely flying start (if you’ll excuse the pun) as we already have 10 students flying from the new airfield and with capacity for more. I’m absolutely thrilled with the level of enthusiasm and support we’ve already had for this new venture and I can’t wait to tell you about our next developments.
I’m also happy to tell you that we’ve already had our inaugural fly in at Stoke Airfield, which took place on the 25th July.
It was a fantastic day shared with lots for friends. The weather was a bit choppy for lots of flying, however we were able to get in plenty of fun and games on the ground below.
We had a brilliant day, finished up with dinner at the airfield. A big thank you to everyone who was able to join us for the fly in!
I hope that if you haven’t already had a chance to get down to see the new airfield you will be able to do so soon.
I also wanted to confirm that we are continuing to build our teaching base at Little Gransden and continue to operate at North Weald and Hornchurch.
Thanks as always for being a party of Two Two Fly.
